VIDEOCONFERENCING
WYTEC is equipped with state-of-the-art videoconferencing equipment. The Polycom Viewstation FX is the primary system at the Douglas training school. We also have Polycom Viewstation 128 units which we have placed at some of our scientific collaborative sites. With these Polycom units we can facilitate real-time, remote:
- teacher and student curriculum support
- collaborative relations with peers and professionals
- training and instruction
- videoconferenced based courses
Some of these units can also be used to provide videostreaming of live images from any video input. Our current plans will provide the streaming of Hydrogen Alpha solar images .
