Moorcroft
HS Physics and Chemistry students were presented with discussions of how
aspects of their classes are applied to the study of Astronomy. The MS students
discussed how the sun influences weather on our planet. All students were
treated to good Hydrogen-Alpha and white light views of the sun. Bitter
cold and high altitude clouds spoiled the star party that evening. Over
65 students were involved with the WYTEC mobile
visit. WYTEC staff also visited with faculty and administration in regards
to assisting in resurrecting the districts existing observatory. |
