Challenger Center meeting

Gillette, WY

Challenger Center members and HS Astronomy class

A very chilly but clear night provide over 45 students and community members views of the planets and comet Ikeya-Zha. The WYTEC mobile observatory also demonstrated some of it's other capabilities by placing real-time images of the moon on a TV located outside of the trailer. Using an Astrovid 2000 camera allows delivering images from the telescope to TV monitors for large group and handicapped accessible viewing.

WYTEC made a presentation to the Challenger Center board for the purpose of establishing a working alliance in order to deliver WYTEC and Challenger Center resources to schools and communities around the state and region.
